Why I chose this costume
Massive. Dragon. Wings.
Need I say more??
This project was one of those 'dream projects' we cosplayers always talk about. The ones where all our failures and succusses are leading to, just waiting for our talent to catch up with our imagination.
I've always had a love for dragons, and when I first saw the Dragon "Stormterror", aka Dvalin, on screen, I was immediately envisioning those glorious wings sparkling in the sun on my back. Two years later, I decided it was time to stop daydreaming and put my skills to the test.
How I made this costume
The main focus, and challenge, of this build was the large transparent wings. The wings were made from epoxy resin, supported with a harness and mount of pvc pipe.
The outfit is a custom design corset vest, made to fit around the harness system and adopt a draconic design.
