A Bit About Me
Before Cosplay
Before I was a cosplayer, I was an adventurer born and raised on a sailboat on the Pacific Ocean. With my parents, I travelled across the world, visiting small Islands until settling for a few years in New Zealand. Upon returning to Canada, I switched my sights to the sky and dedicated my training to becoming a Pilot, which I still work as a part-time instructor. During this time, I was convinced I was going to work in Science and Humanities, graduating from Queen's University with a degree in Geography and GIS. But all of that got pushed aside when I finally let my creativity free and cosplay took over my life.
Life as a Professional Cosplayer
I was technically introduced to cosplay in 2012, when I did my first cosplay as Pichu at a small local convention. It was fun, but I didn't really get into it until the obsession hit me in my University years of 2018. I found myself consumed by elaborate plans of building armor and filming stories on tik tok when I should have been studying for my next exam. When Covid hit and I lost my job as a GIS analyst I thought, 'Oh well, I'll just chill out for a few months and have some fun cosplaying.' 4 years later, I still haven't gone back to 'normal' work.

I have now dedicated my time to creating new costumes, sharing my passion with fans and other creators, and travelling the world to find artistic inspiration. As the sole employee of my little business and completely self-taught, I am the model, photographer, manager, editor, crafter, marketing team, accountant, makeup artist, and every other title. Though I often find myself questioning how I manage it all, it's the joy and sense of accomplishment each finished project gives me that makes me do it again and again. Both that, and the amazing community of fans I have supporting me because without them, none of this would be possible.
